Oneida was founded in the mid 1880’s in upstate New York. They were famous for manufacturing silverware such as candlesticks, plates, platters, spoons, cups and more. It was in the 1960’s that Oneida revolutionized the industry when they starting to manufacture stainless steel cutlery. This resulted in high-end designed cutlery at affordable prices and before long Oneida was exporting all around the world.
